In a Rainy Town, Balloons Dance With Devils (雨降る街にて風船は悪魔と踊る)

In a Rainy Town, Balloons Dance With Devils (雨降る街にて風船は悪魔と踊る)
Original Singer: Hatsune Miku
Producer: Hachi-P

Cry again to the balloon that's in the sky up there, gently floating
Tomorrow come? Just look up at the balloons swaying to-fro
Look at me!

In a plain sort of rainy town
Demons whisper quietly
Ranbara, ranbara, ranbara
Looking for something they can never find
Faintly hearing it as you sleep
Breathing to the rhythm of
Rohjira, rohjira, rohjira
They can never find, they can never find

Traces of a sort of needle piercing through your flesh is not allowed here
Just look up at balloons that float so giddy through the sky, at your neck

In a plain sort of flower shop
There's a man inside, who says
Ranbara, ranbara, ranbara
And he disappears, and he disappears
"Come on now, say, where did you hide?"
Breathing to the rhythm of
Rohjira, rohjira, rohjira
They can never find, they can never find

In a plain sort of rainy town
Demons whisper quietly
Ranbara, ranbara, ranbara
Looking for something they can never find
Faintly hearing it as you sleep
Breathing to the rhythm of
Rohjira, rohjira, rohjira
And they find you now.

**OKOKOK So I know there's like a million theories on this but here's mine for the record.
Miku is one freaky chick. She was crazy from the beginning, but she ended up in an asylum. They gave her a bunch of needles and drugs, but nothing helped. She just kept hearing weird voices and seeing devils and things. So she escaped into a flower shop, and there was a possessed guy there who raped her. Miku got pregnant with a sort of devil baby, and because of this, she was trying to kill herself. The "thing" the devils can never find is Miku's baby. They possessed the guy so that Miku would have the baby, which is they want. "You" in the song is referring to Miku. This song is what's happening in her head, and Ward Room 305 is what everybody else sees. (Please go read the rest of the theory there, 'cuz there's holes in this one. Well, there's holes in that one too, but less holes.) This whole thing is definitely creepy, but I would also say it's a bit sad. Definitely has catchy songs though.**

  1. Woah, I thought that this was about abuse. Thank you. (This song was kinda horrifying.) But the way you said this so calmly is like, so suprising. Like, bro! I love this web! (Especially when I don't know the meaning of a vocalist or Japanese song.)
